Come Out to Play, Discover, Learn!

During the current public health emergency, Schiff Nature Preserve remains open to the public for hiking, biking, and walking. However, since March 14, Schiff Natural Lands Trust, Inc has cancelled and/or rescheduled all of its guided hikes and educational and recreational programs until further notice. While our trails remain open, the Nature Center will be closed. Our part time staff and volunteer board continue to monitor and maintain the trails as best as we can using Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations for the containment of infectious diseases including social distancing, hand washing, and disinfectant measures.

Visitors are asked to assist us in maintaining a safe and clean open space for the public to enjoy by carrying in and out all waste and keeping pets on leashes during this busy time. We ask that our visitors do their very best to follow public health guidelines and avoid congregating.
